Sestriere is part of the international Milky Way ski area , which includes 7 other mountain resorts (Sauze d'Oulx, Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Pragelato, Claviere and the French Montgenèvre) all connected by ski lifts offering 400Km of slopes (7 green, 80 blue, 120 red and 42 black) and 70 ski lifts. The vastness and variety of the area manage to satisfy both the most demanding skiers, thanks to the long and challenging slopes, and those approaching the world of skiing for the first time.
